Bar Review #6 - The Savoy Bar

Hi Everyone,

Waiting can be a tiresome endeavour on many occasions, however, if you have identified a good bar to pass your time then it doesn't have to be a negative experience. There is a bar for every occasion in London and The Savoy offers a positive experience if you want to impress someone or just feel like having a very professional service. You are welcomed into the grand halls of the Savoy and escorted to a large area where you are able to sit and relax while you order drinks. It is a sophisticated room with everyone dressed to impress, perhaps not the best place to go if you are going casual. The servers very professionally serve you, always willing to give their own recommendations. On this occasion, a bottle of wine was ordered alongside complimentary bar snacks.

The bottle was not unreasonably priced, however the prices are going more towards the higher end. You are also paying for the service and the actual bar as this particular place would be very impressive on a date. The bottle of wine was refreshing and the perfect way to get ready for an event. The bar snacks were typically addictive and thirst inducing. But overall, the high end relaxed atmosphere made the wait worthwhile. A wide selection of drinks are available and goes up to ridiculous prices. But if you just want to have a relaxing drink that impresses people then I would definitely recommend the Savoy.
