Bar Review #9 - Nikki Beach at the Fairmont

Hi everyone,

During my final night in Monaco I wanted to experience the best bars and end my trip with a memorable night. Therefore I returned to the Fairmont and climbed to the top floor for the opportunity to see the very popular Nikki Beach. During the summer this bar can get very full of exclusive guests but on this occasion the bar remained relatively quiet. It has a relaxed but elegant atmosphere as you would expect from a high class establishment. The swimming pool is surrounded by a great array of fancy pool furniture; it almost feels like a fancy Hawaii inspired bar. The drinks are pricey but if you are only having one or two then it is not unaffordable. The staff are pleasant and give you space to converse. Nikki Beach is a bar you can quite easily spend many hours in the blink of an eye. I would definitely recommend this bar on a warm night in Monte Carlo.

Another luxurious bar in Monte Carlo is the famous Sass Cafe. Many famous figures have graced this bar which is located in what appears to be a normal road. From the outside it is difficult to tell that this bar is exclusively high end, however once inside then you come to realise why. The bar is filled with expensive bottles of alcohol and the price is high, even for Monte Carlo standards. Rather amusingly, the wifi password is 'show me the money' or something of that nature. The drink itself was very elegant and high quality. However, I feel for a more memorable night you should go to Nikki Beach.
